The blade is easily detachable so that it can be displayed or the body of the saber can be worn alone on the belt.

All the lighting electronics are housed in an aluminium socket to protect it from shock and vibration.

This socket is also easily interchangeable, allowing you to change the colour of the sabre simply by acquiring an additional colour socket.
